A-Yield FIRE is a personal finance tracking and education app. We built it to be private by design: your financial data lives on your device, not on our servers.

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how the A-Yield FIRE application (“the App”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use it. By using the App you agree to this policy.

2. Data you enter stays on your device

The financial information you add — accounts, positions, balances, contributions, goals, and plans — is stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud, this data may be synced through your private Apple iCloud account so it is available across your own devices. We do not receive, see, or store this data on our own servers.

3. Information we do not collect

• We do not require an account, name, email, or phone number to use the App.
• We do not collect your portfolio holdings, balances, or net worth.
• We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties.
• We do not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.

4. Market data

To show current prices and quotes, the App may request market data from third-party financial data providers. These requests contain the asset symbols you are tracking, but no personally identifying information about you.

5. Optional device features

• Notifications. If you enable reminders, they are scheduled locally on your device.
• Accountability partner. If you choose a contact, it is read only with your permission and stored locally; it is not uploaded to us.
• App Lock. Your PIN is stored securely in the device Keychain and never leaves your device.

6. Diagnostics

Apple may provide us with aggregated, anonymous crash and usage statistics if you have opted in to share analytics with developers in your device settings. This data cannot be used to identify you.

7. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect any personal information from them.

8. Your rights and control

Because your data is stored on your device, you remain in control of it. You can edit or delete your data at any time inside the App, or remove all of it by deleting the App. If you use iCloud, you can manage that data through your iCloud settings.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
